The Fringes of Austin is where I live, and where Austin, Texas musicians are increasingly moving, pushed out by inflated rent and property prices. Like me, many Austin musicians 'can't make a living, and can't walk away." Fringes of Austin captures the feeling of being pushed out of our beloved city, and the forlorn hope that we might make it back there someday.
